Noodle made a clean sweep of Rally Excellent A at the rally trial this wekend, earning 4 Q's and 4 first places to earn her Rally Excellent (RE) title! This is Noodle's 40th AKC/WCA title.

Pizza proves once again that she is much more than just a pretty face! She took 2nd in a very competitive Open Limited Gun Dog stake at a field trial in Kentucky this weekend. This is only her second time competing in a "broke dog" stake, and she impressed the judges with FOUR solid, beautiful points on 4 birds, and held perfectly through the flush and shot.

Noodle and Dolphin had a great agility weekend to start off 2023! Noodle finished her Master Bronze Jumpers title, which is 25 qualifying runs in Master Jumpers with Weaves. She now has both Bronze titles in Master Standard and Master Jumpers.

Dolphin had a great weekend, picking up that last Master Standard qualifying run to earn his Master Agility (MX) title. He also qualified in Master Jumpers, earning his very FIRST double QQ towards his MACH!

Noodle earned her 25th Master Standard qualifying run in agility, giving her the new title of Master Bronze Agility (MXB). She also earned her 10th Master FAST qualifying run, earning her Master FAST (MXF) title. It is also worth mentioning that she has earned two more Master Hunter passes in the past 2 weeks, bringing her MH title to 15. Noodle is one busy girl (and loves every minute of it!).

Noodle finished her Master Hunter Advanced title with some nice solid scores. The MHA title is earned when a Master Hunter earns 5 additional Master Hunter passes that scored an average of 8 or higher. This was Noodle's 12th Master Hunter pass (in less than a year!), whcih earned her the AKC Master Hunter Lifetime Achievement Award.

Noodle went on to earn an additional Master Hunter pass the next day, bringing her total up to 13 MH passes. Hunting is by far her most favorite thing to do. Seeing the joy on her face when she is running is worth every entry fee!

Dolphin did a great job at the Greater Cincinnati Weimaraner Club scent work trials. He finished his Advanced Containers title, and earned his first Excellent Q in Excellent Buried, which is pretty great since he has only been training in scent work for 8 months!

Dolphin had a fantastic weekend at the Licking River Kennel Club AKC Scent Work trial! He finished the following titles:
  ★ Novice Handler Discrimination (SDHN)
  ★ Novice Exteriors (SEN)
  ★ Novice Containers (SCN)
  ★ Overall Scent Work Novice title (SWN)
  ★ Advanced Buried (SIA)
  ★ Advanced Interiors (SBA)
His work ethic and enthusiasm was amazing!

Noodle dipped her toes in the obedience world, and successfully earned her Beginner Novice Obedience (BN) title at an obedience trial in Dayton, Ohio. This makes Noodle's 34th AKC/WCA title!

Dolphin breezed through his Excellent Agility titles this month, earning his Agility Excellent (AX), Agility Excellent Jumpers (AXJ) and Excellent FAST (XF) titles. At only 2 years of age, he is now competing at the Master level, working on his MACH title!

Noodle earned a qualifying score and won her Rally Advanced class at a rally trial in Cleveland Ohio. Her score was high enough to complete the requirements for qualifying for the AKC Rally National Championships in 2023!

Pizza went 3 for 4 at a double double hunt test in Indiana to finish her Master Hunter title! At only 2 1/2 years of age, she knocked out her Master Hunter in just 3 weekends of tests. This girl has super drive and trainability, and so much talent! Best of all, all of her MH scores were consistently very high, with many "10's" awarded.

With this new Master Hunter title, Pizza earned her "VX2" (Versatile Excellent 2) rating from the Weimaraner Club of America. Versatility is something we place a high value in, so this makes us extra proud!

Dolphin topped off his show career by WINNING Best Dog in Maturity at the 2022 Weimaraner Club of America National Specialty!With this prestigious win, Dolphin is now a Futurity and Maturity winner, along with a second place in the Field Futurity. We are especially proud of this, as this is very rare for our breed to place in such versatile futurities.

Dolphin had a great time at the 2022 Weimaraner Club of America National Specialty. He qualified in Novice Retrieving Dog, qualified in Agility and won High Scoring Open Jumpers (which also finished his Open Jumpers title, and was second in the Versatile Dog conformation class, along with WINNING his Maturity class. This gave him a National Specialty Tri-Athlete Award, and also earned him his VX (Versatile Excellent) rating from the WCA.

Noodle was a busy girl at the 2022 Weimaraner Club of America National Specialty! She qualified in 4 out of 5 runs in Masters agility, qualified in Rally and won the Rally Advanced class, qualified and earned a new title in Retrieving Dog, qualified in Beginner Novice Obedience, and won her Field titled Bitch class at the national specialty, earning her a Tri-Athlete Award (her third one in the past 3 nationals) and ended up in second place for Most Versatile Weimaraner, losing by only 3 points!

By earning her RD title, this gives her enough points for her VX3 rating (Versatile Excellent 3) in the Weimaraner Club of America. Versatility is where it's at!!!

Dolphin competed in his first AKC Scent Work trial on April 29-May 1, 2022. He qualified and won both rounds of Novice Handler Discrimination, and went on to finish the weekend with 13 qualifying runs with 7 wins (3 of which were under 7 seconds!) and new titles in Novice Interiors and Novice Buried.

Noodle and Pizza both earned Master Hunter passes at the hunt test in Shiloh, Ohio. Pizza is working on her Master Hunter title, and Noodle is working on her Master Hunter Advanced, and also her Master Hunter Lifetime Achievement title. of course, the titles are just for me...they are just overjoyed to be able to keep hunting!

Pizza received a certificate from the Weimaraner Club of America for finishing 2021 in the top 10 of all Weimaraners in Derby (field). She ended up at #5 in her short Derby career. Pizza is the only grand champion to finish in the top 10 of any Weimaraner field statictics last year.

Noodle and Pizza headed to the WCA Shooting Ratings test and an AKC Hunt Test in Jackson Springs, North Carolina. Both Noodle and Pizza passed their Shooting Dog Excellent (SDX) test for a new WCA title!

Noodle went on to earn TWO legs in Master Hunter Advanced, and Pizza earned her very first Master Hunter leg on her first try over the weekend. Both girls hunted hard, with great range, speed, and enthusiasm, and most of all - control!

February was all about agility, and we had another great weekend! Noodle was on fire, and picked up a TRIPLE Q in Masters Standard, Jumpers, and FAST all on one day. We are inching towards that MACH, little by little!

Pizza had some nice, speedy runs and picked up her first two Excellent Standard qualifying legs. She gets better and better and she builds confidence.

Dolphin had a great weekend where he learned a LOT! We opted to give up some clean runs to do a fix-and-go to reinforce his training, because the training is always more important than the Q's. I like to think we are building up our agility bank account for the future. Dolphin picked up his last Open FAST qualifying run to earn his OF title.

About Time Weims had yet another stellar weekend at the agility trial! Noodle earned two Masters Jumpers qualifying runs to finish her Masters Jumpers (MXJ) title. This title is Noodle's 28th AKC/WCA title! She topped off the weekend with a Masters Standard qualifying run, for a Double Q and points towards her MACH (Masters Agility Championship).

Dolphin put in a solid performance to qualify and finish his Novice Standard title. In his Open agility debut this weekend, he was phenomenal, with qualifying CLEAN runs in Open Standard, Open Jumpers, and Open FAST!

About Time Weims had a stellar weekend at the agility trial! Pizza was in season so she had the weekend off, but Noodle and Dolphin had some amazing runs to both earn two new titles each! Noodle earned her XF (Excellent FAST) title, and also earned her MX (Masters Agility) title. The MX title requires 10 qualifying runs that are clean and in time in Masters Standard.

Dolphin may only be a new Novice dog, but he has been running at the agility trials like an old pro! In just a few weekends, he finished his NAJ (Novice Agility Jumpers) title and his NF (Novice FAST) title. The best part is that he is having a blast running agility. That's the most important win of all!

In just 2 short months of testing, Noodle completed her Master Hunter title with consistently high scores. She proved herself in many challenging conditions - both weather and circumstances. Her drive and trainability, along with her spectacular talent made this advanced title a reality! This Master Hunter title also gives her the title of VX2 (Versatile Excellent 2) from the Weimaraner Club of America.

Rowan - "Image's N About Time's Making Dreams Come True" - takes Winners Bitch and Best of Winners at the Weimaraner Club of America 2021 Winter Specialty in Ardmore, OK for a major! Rowan is from the Pretzel x Country litter, and is a littermate to Dolphin.

November was a great month for About Time Weims in the field!

NOODLE: Earned THREE passes in Master Hunter, with some very high scores! Noodle has only been doing MH since last month, and she has shown beautiful intensity and drive along with great focus. She is truly a joy to take in the field! Noodle only needs two more passes to earn her Master Hunter title.

PIZZA: Pizza was on a major roll this month, earning THREE Senior Hunter passes and finishing her Senior Hunter title! Her last SH run was beautiful, with master-level handling and several scores of perfect "10". We love her speed and pure joy in the field, and are excited for her future as she is just a little over 2 years old.

DOLPHIN: Dolphin showed off the beautiful fierce point he inherited from his daddy to earn THREE passes in Junior Hunter, finishing his JH title. He is a wonderful example of training "up", as he consistently held his point through the flush and blank shot as a junior. The sky is the limit for this young man, at only 18 months of age!

All three, like all of our dogs in every event, are 100% owner-handled and owner-trained. We are so thankful to all of the field trainers who have helped us out along the way, as it takes a village (and a LOTTA birds!) to create a broke gun dog!

Team About Time headed to Gettysburg Pennsylvania for the WCA National Specialty! All three dogs came away with some great success!

NOODLE: 2 qualifying runs in Masters Standard Agility with a 2nd and 4th place, 1st place in the Regional Specialty Field Trial Bitch class, 3rd place in Rally Intermediate at the NS, earning her Tri-Athlete Award

PIZZA: 2 qualifying runs in Open Agility (finishing her Open Jumpers title!), qualifying in Novice Shooting Dog, and competed in her futurity and best of breed to earn her Tri-Athlete Award

DOLPHIN: 4 qualifying runs in Novice Agility (including several first place awards), qualifying in Novice Shooting Dog, and competing in Best of Breed to not only earn his Tri-Athlete award, but was also awarded the 2021 Most Versatile Weimaraner Junior for dogs under 2 years of age!

At the awards banquet, both Pizza and Dolphin were awarded the 2021 Dual Futurity Award for placing in both the field and show futurities. Pretzel also won his second pewter dog statue for being the sire of the Best Dog in Maturity. It was an amazing week for the entire About Time team!

Pizza and Dolphin attended the WVA Ratings Test hosted by the Greater Cincinnati Weimaraner Club. Pizza was steady as a rock through the flush and shot and had a beautiful direct retrieve to earn her Shooting Dog (SD) rating. Dolphin was equally as steady to the flush and blank shot on multiple birds and showed beautiful hunting style (and a very dramatic point!) to earn his Novice Shooting Dog (NSD) rating. Pizza also earned another Senior Hunter leg in the hunt test earlier that day, and Dolphin earned a Junior Hunter leg (again holding steady through everything).

This NSD title also quaified Dolphin for his "Versatile" rating. All 4 dogs on the About Time competition team are not only Grand Champions, but also Versatile rated.

Dolphin traveled to Columbia, South Carolina for the 4 Weimaraner specialties, in which he was entered in three of them. He managed to earn a select dog and two best of opposites out of tough specials competition to earn three 5-point grand champion majors, finishing his Grand Championship at age 17 months! Dolphin had a great time in the ring, showing off his tricks and his always-wagging tail, along with his beautiful ground-covering side gait. Dolphin also won Best in Sweepstakes on Friday at the specialties.

It was a great day at the Greater Charleston Weimaraner Club specialties in Columbia, South Carolina as two Pretzel sons came out on top of a lovely group of specials - Marshall (Preztel x Mouse, DOB 11/1/17) took Best of Opposite and Dolphin (Pretzel x Country, DOB 4/4/20) took Select Dog.

Pretzel came out of retirement to try a new sport - Scentwork! At his first trial, he earned his Novice Interior title, along with 8 qualifying runs and a couple of first place finishes. He is a true joy to work with as his work ethic is unequaled!

Pizza had a successful weekend of agility, finishing her Open Standard title, Novice FAST title, and also earning her VX (Versatile Excellent) rating, all before her 2nd birthday!

We had a successful 2021 Central Futurity! The competition was deep with some of the top young dogs from all over the country. Pizza took a competitive 3rd place in Senior Bitches, and Dolphin not only won his Junior Dogs class, but was awarded BEST DOG IN FUTURITY! It was a very proud moment for all of us.

In a torrential downpour, Pizza and Dolphin successfully completed their land and water retrieves to earn their Novice Retrieving Dog titles. Many thanks to the Tarheel Weimaraner Club for hosting the ratings test in North Carolina.

After not trialing in over 2 months, Noodle laid down two clean runs in Masters Standard (earning her first MACH points) and two clean runs in Excellent Jumpers, finishing her AXJ title.

Dolphin won 4th place in the Open Puppy stakes at the Eastern Field Classic, and earned a 2nd place finish in the 2021 WCA Eastern Field Futurity, held in Dillwyn, Virginia.

Pizza won 4th place in a very competitive Open Derby stakes at the WCA Eastern Field Classic, and on the same day also earned a 3rd place in the 2021 WCA Eastern Field Futurity, held in Dillwyn, Virginia.

Noodle finished up her Senior Hunter title with a bang, earning scores of almost all 9's at the Shiloh, Ohio hunt test.

At her very first field trial, Pizza showed drive, speed, and class to earn 1st place in the Amateur Derby stakes in Paris, Kentucky

At 8 months of age (and the youngest Weim puppy in competition), Dolphin wins Best of Breed at the 2020 AKC National Championships Puppy Stakes.

At only 16 months of age (and the youngest Weim in competition), Pizza earned her invite to the NOHS Finals at the AKC National Championship show by finishing the year in 7th place. She showed wonderful in the finals and won Best of Breed, also making the cut in a very tough 32 dog sporting group in Orlando, Florida!

Noodle earned two legs of her senior hunter title, showing great intensity and drive. We hope to hit some hunt tests this winter and finish her last two legs of her title.

Pizza earned her Junior Hunter title quickly - 4 tests and 4 passes! She did a wonderful job of showing off her training by holding through the flush at each test. We are continuing to train up for Senior Hunter.

Dolphin finished his championship after only one month of showing, at 7 months of age. He finished with FOUR majors, including two specialty majors! It was a very short, but very sweet ride to his championship, and we are supremely proud of him. He will take some time off from conformation so he can mature, and we will work on our agility foundations and field training for the next year.

Pizza started her agility career the day she turned 15 months old (October 31, 2020). Within three weekends, she managed to complete her Novice Agility standard title and her Novice Jumpers title.

After a very short puppy show career of only a month and a half, Pizza finished her championship the day before her first birthday by winning three majors. Her show career started with only a month of showing at 6 months of age in February, 2020 winning 7 points in 7 shows. Shows shut down starting in March, and she came back at the end of July to pick up three majors to finish it out. Not one to rest on her laurels, she went out two days later and picked up a Best of Opposite at a specialty with over 13 bitch specials entered, and then picked up another Best of Opposite the next day.

Dolphin went to his very first AKC show at age 4 1/2 months to do the 4-6 month puppy class, and went home with a Puppy Best In Show! He decided to make it a clean sweep, winning Best In Show all three days of the Smithfield, Ohio show cluster. He went into the show ring with his tail up and a happy grin as he gaited around the ring. This boy was born to show off! He finished out his beginner puppy career with 3 best in show, 6 group ones, a group two, and a group three in 4-6 month puppy.

After a nearly year-long hiatus from the agility ring (thank you COVID!), Noodle came out this summer to finish out her Open Jumpers title, putting her at the Excellent Level in all 3 AKC agility classes (Standard, Jumpers, and FAST). She also earned titles through UKI's at-home agility trial program this spring.
